WASHINGTON,D.C. – The U.S. President Donald Trump has shocked the literary world with the surprise announcement of his latest book, The Art of Being Outsmarted by Putin, a self-described “very, very tremendous” sequel to his 1987 bestseller The Art of the Deal.
The book, which Trump calls “the most honest, best-selling book ever written, even before it’s released”, chronicles his experiences negotiating with world leaders, particularly his “fantastic, but totally unfair” dealings with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
According to early leaked excerpts, the book features chapters such as:
- “How You Can Lose, Even When You’re Winning”,
- “How To Submit Yourself To A Dictator Even If You Are Strong (Oops)”,
- “How To Lose Your Strong Deal Even Before You Start Negotiations”, and
- “How to Be the Best Loser and Still Call It Winning.”
Trump insists the book isn’t a “hit piece” but rather a “brilliant business lesson in strategic submission,” claiming, “Sometimes, the best deals are the ones where you get completely outmaneuvered, folks. Some people say I lost, but trust me, I lost so well, it was almost a win.”
Critics have already cited the book as “a masterclass in self-owning,” while Trump’s loyal supporters insist it’s another “must-read” from the former president.
Russian president Putin was reportedly gifted a signed copy, which sources say he immediately used as a coaster for his vodka.
