LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – A social media personality and wellness enthusiast Miranda Smithwood hosted an apocalypse-themed rooftop yoga session yesterday, using the raging wildfires in the hills as a dramatic statement of resilience.

Dubbed “Glow with the Flow: Fire Edition”, the event promised transformational vibes, panoramic views of the smoky skyline, and complimentary organic turmeric lattes for the first 10 attendees who posted a Reel.

“Fire is a metaphor for change,” Miranda explained to her 2.7 million followers during a livestream from her yoga mat, as embers drifted in the distance. “As the flames cleanse the land, we, too, can cleanse our souls. Also, the wild blazes create great lighting for selfies.”

Despite air quality warnings and temperatures hitting triple digits, dozens of yoga enthusiasts in matching beige leggins flocked to the rooftop, snapping pictures in downward dog while helicopters dropped water on nearby blazes.

Critics have blasted the event as tone-deaf, with one local firefighter calling it “the most L.A. thing I’ve ever seen.”

However, Miranda remained unbothered, announcing her next event: “Hot Vinyasa: Earthquake Edition”, set to take place in a precariously perched Malibu cliff side villa. Tickets start at $499 and include a crystal that vibrates with tectonic energy.
