WASHINGTON, DC – The eccentric billionaire Elon Musk found himself at the center of controversy this week after raising his hand in what some mistakenly interpreted as a nazi salute during his speech at Donald Trump’s inauguration ceremony.
Musk, however, was quick to address the situation, explaining that he was merely demonstrating how tall Barron Trump, the son of President Donald Trump, has grown.
“Honestly, people are too quick to jump to conclusions,” Musk tweeted in his usual no-holds-barred style. “I was showing that Barron is like, this tall now. It’s incredible. Kid’s practically a walking skyscraper. Chill, internet.”
Barron Trump himself has remained silent, though sources close to the Trump family claim he’s “mildly amused but too busy reaching things on the top shelf for Melania.”
In true Musk fashion, the eccentric millionaire and Tesla CEO took the incident in stride, tweeting later, “If anything, this is just proof humanity needs Neuralink as soon as possible – so misunderstandings like this don’t happen.”
