WASHINGTON,DC – President Donald Trump has issued a presidential order to officially rename Greenland as Orangeland.

Trump’s announcement came during a press conference held in front of a giant orange globe, which he described as “the most accurate map of the world ever made.”

“I’ve always had a tremendous connection with Greenland – big, beautiful ice, tremendous ice,” Trump declared.

“But let’s face it: Greenland doesn’t reflect the vibrant, bold, beautiful color we all know is the best. It’s time to upgrade it. I’m thinking – Orangeland. It’s catchy, powerful, and frankly, very classy.”

Political analysts are baffled by the announcement, with some questioning about Trump’s geographical knowledge. “Does he know Greenland isn’t part of the U.S.?” one reporter asked.

Trump’s response: “Look, I tried to buy Greenland, okay? But Denmark said no, very rude. So, if I can’t own it, I can at least improve its brand.”
