AUSTIN, TX – Electric vehicle producer Tesla, Inc. has announced a new affordable version of the Cybertruck, designed specifically for budget-conscious drivers, that is for financially not so fortunate people.
Unlike its high-end predecessor, this new model comes with a unique cost-cutting feature – it’s permanently convertible due to Tesla strategically skipping the roof and windows.
“We call it extreme air conditioning,” said Elon Musk during the unveiling. “It’s the most open-concept vehicle ever made. No barriers between you and nature.”
To further reduce costs, the Convertible Edition Cybertruck also ditches traditional doors, opting for an innovative “just jump in” design. Tesla engineers have assured customers that the truck’s stainless-steel frame will still protect them in case of accidents, although they recommend wearing a helmet. “If motorcycles don’t need doors, why should trucks?” Musk tweeted after the event.
Despite its stripped-down features, Tesla fans are already lining up to pre-order the Convertible Edition Cybertruck, which starts at an attractive $19,999. However, customers should act fast, as Musk warned that prices may increase randomly “just for the vibes.”
