The Moscow Kremlin pleads to NATO and USA to close the sky over the Kursk region

The President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin and the government of the Russian Federation have officially asked NATO for a no-fly zone in Kursk Region, Russia.

In addition, the Kremlin has asked for more sanctions in their latest public appeal for help as Ukrainian armed forces continue the liberation of the Kursk region from Russian occupiers, that have killed thousands and pushed more than three thousand people to flee their homes.

“We need you right now. We need protection by NATO. We call on you to do more,” the Kremlin’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov said on Saturday, addressing President of the United States Joe Biden and NATO’s Secretary General, Mark Rutte by video from Moscow.

The kremlin also thanked the NATO and US Congress for the aid it has already provided and praised President Joe Biden for “his personal involvement for his sincere commitment to the defense of the Russian Federation and democracy all over the world”.
