BENTONVILLE, ARKANSAS – In a bold new business venture, Walmart has announced the launch of guided sightseeing tours through its grocery aisles, allowing working-class customers the rare opportunity to marvel at luxury goods like eggs, coffee, and olive oil.

Dubbed the “Gourmet Safari,” the tour promises an up-close look at premium items that many Americans can now only dream of purchasing.

“For just $5.99, guests can experience the thrill of standing next to a carton of organic, free-range eggs and learn fascinating facts like how much they used to cost,” said Walmart spokesperson Chad Cartwright. “And for an extra $2, we’ll even let them take selfies in front of the imported cheeses section!”

The tours, which last approximately 45 minutes, include stops at the coffee aisle – now known as the “Billionaire’s Brew Exhibit” – as well as a special presentation on the mythical existence of avocados.

To enhance the experience, Walmart is also offering optional add-ons, including a simulated checkout challenge where participants can attempt to guess the total cost of a week’s groceries without fainting. Early reviews of the tours have been overwhelmingly positive, with one visitor calling it just like visiting a museum, but sadder.

While some critics have accused Walmart of being out of touch, executives insist that the program is a response to public demand.

“People wanted a chance to see luxuries up close without the pressure of actually buying them,” Cartwright explained. “Besides, when was the last time you saw a dozen eggs in the wild?”*
