MAR-A-LAGO, FL –President Donald Trump has proposed renaming the NFL’s annual Super Bowl to the “Mega Bowl”, claiming it better reflects the spirit of his “Make America Great Again” era in American politics and lifestyle.
“Super is okay, folks, but Mega is stronger, bigger, more tremendous,” Trump announced during this year Super Bowl in New Orleans, where the current president attended.
Trump insisted the current name is “frankly, a little weak” and that a rebranding to Mega Bowl would “make football great again.” He also suggested that the winning team receive a solid gold trophy shaped like a red hat, along with a “beautiful, perfect” phone call from him personally.
“People are saying it’s the best idea—many people, the smartest people. Even Tom Brady and Travis Kelce probably love it,” president Trump added.
