AUSTIN, TX – Tesla, the electric car giant has rolled out a limited-edition speedometer screen inspired by Elon Musk’s much-memed 2025 inauguration speech.
The new display, dubbed “Musk-o-Meter,” is said to show the bold view of the future design features of company’s cars.
Instead of simply showing numbers, the speedometer now projects Musk’s iconic hand gestures from the speech, synchronized with the vehicle’s speed. Drivers cruising at 45 mph might see Musk’s confident wave, while hitting 88 mph will trigger a holographic reenactment of his infamous “to infinity and Mars” quote.
Tesla’s engineers claim the Musk-o-Meter isn’t just for show – it also delivers motivational quotes from the speech at random intervals.
“You’re not just driving,” said one of Tesla’s designers. “You’re participating in Elon’s visionary journey. And let’s face it, who doesn’t want to hear ‘The future is electric, and so is your potential’ every time they hit the brakes?”
However, some critics claim the Musk-o-Meter distracts from safe driving, while others argue it’s Tesla’s most entertaining feature yet.
Tesla hasn’t commented on whether the feature will become standard in all models or if it’s just a short-lived ode to Musk’s legendary moment during inauguration 2025 speech.
One thing is certain: the Musk-o-Meter is speeding into the hearts – and dashboards – of Tesla fans everywhere.
