WASHINGTON, D.C. –President Donald Trump is reportedly considering renaming the White House to the “White Kremlin” as a gesture of respect to his “good, maybe the best friend,” Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Sources close to Trump say he believes the new name would reflect “tremendous, really tremendous” international relations and would be “the classiest rebranding in history, maybe ever.”
“Look, everyone loves the name. The White Kremlin – it’s powerful, it’s strong, it’s got that Russian elegance,” Trump allegedly told aides at the building currently still known as White House.
“People are saying it, folks. Putin loves it. I love it. Even Sleepy Joe probably loves it but won’t admit it.” When pressed for an official comment, a Kremlin spokesperson neither confirmed nor denied the reports but did say, “Mr. Trump is always welcome in Moscow, no visa required.”
Critics argue that the renaming would be an unprecedented and controversial shift, but Trump supporters see it as a bold move toward diplomacy.
Some have even suggested adding golden onion domes to the roof, with Trump responding, “We’ll see, we’ll see – but I do love gold, and frankly, the place could use an upgrade.”
Meanwhile, Congress is reportedly scrambling to find a law that explicitly prevents a former president from selling U.S. government buildings on a reality TV show.
