7 reasons why crowd at U.S. Open served ‘Boos’ for President Trump

Trump, US Open

The U.S. Open crowd gave loud chorus of boos that greeted president Donald Trump as he entered the stadium.

While casual viewers may have thought it was just standard New York hospitality, we hereby give the following list of reasons for behind the crowd’s reaction.

1. Trump allegedly confused the U.S. Open Tennis Championships with the U.S. Open Golf Championship and asked for a caddy.

2. Trump wanted the net “moved to the southern border for security reasons.”

3. Trump brought his own Sharpie to “correct” the official scorecards.

4. Trump suggested the ball kids be replaced with “more efficient workers from Mar-a-Lago.”

5. Trump declared the match was rigged against him, despite not being on the court.

6. Trump attempted to challenge a line call using replay footage from Fox News.

7. Trump shouted several times “Fake points!” when the points were not scored by the player he cheered for, but by the opponent.

The jeers were so loud that one umpire joked about giving the audience a collective warning. “We came here for tennis, not a rally where the only swing is a forehand insult,” said a bewildered fan.

After the final game, U.S. Open organizers explained, they are going to draft new guidelines: no politics, no golf equipment, and absolutely no shouting “fake points” at the line judges.
