SILICON VALLEY, CALIFORNIA – Fans of Elon Musk have launched a global fundraiser to support the eccentric billionaire after his net worth dropped to a devastatingly low $398 billion for the first time since December 2024.

Organizers claim that with skyrocketing grocery prices, even the world’s richest man is not immune to financial hardship. “If eggs cost $10 a dozen, it’s hard even for the world’s richest man,” said one concerned Tesla owner.

Supporters have set up donation drives, crowdfunding pages, and even “Musk-a-thons,” where fans pledge to ride their Teslas in circles until they raise enough money to buy Musk at least a few tanks of premium rocket fuel.

“He gave us electric cars, the least we can do is make sure his wealth doesn’t drop below $300 billion,” said an organizer, wiping away tears.

Despite mixed reactions, Musk himself has acknowledged the movement, tweeting, “Appreciate the love, but I’m still good for now. Will let you know if I need to start shopping at Target instead of Whole Foods.”

However, fans remain undeterred, with some even suggesting a charity auction of vintage Twitter blue checkmarks to keep their hero afloat.
