WASHINGTON, D.C. – A now-viral tweet from President Donald Trump has ignited a firestorm after eagle-eyed netizens discovered a hidden message.
Buried among his usual ALL-CAPS political ranting was a sinister acrostic: “D-L-L-P-O-P-E,” which conspiracy theorists and bored Twitter sleuths quickly rearranged to “POPE DELL,” “DROP PLE,” and most alarmingly, “KILL POPE.”
While the tweet loudly proclaims Trump’s tax stance, it now appears to have potentially spilled celestial tea on the untimely passing of Pope Francis.
The tweet, posted on April 18th at 10:10 AM, is a typical Trumpian cocktail of bombast and vaguely threatening punctuation. “JUST LIKE THEY ALL PREDICTED,” it begins, before sliding into a tirade against taxes, Biden, and unspecified “LACKIES.”
But it’s those randomly capitalized letters—painstakingly encircled by online sleuths—that tell the real story. One user wrote, “Bro this isn’t a tweet, it’s a Da Vinci Code chapter with a spray tan.”
Vatican officials have declined to comment, though one source reported that a cardinal fainted mid-Mass after seeing the tweet.
At the same time, Trump staff insist it’s all just a coincidence, though insiders claim the White House printers are already churning out shirts reading “Killer Tweet (Literally).”
As for Pope Francis, Heaven has neither confirmed nor denied its tax policy.
